(setvar "userr1" (setq SF (getreal "\nEnter scale factor: "))) Here's the setscale.lsp, it works fine still: (defun C:SETSCALE () my general workflow relies heavily on a script "setscale" which allows me to enter the scale i am working in, and that way my tools all come in at the proper scale. I draw floor plans, plan view enlargements, equipment elevations / wall fields, and circuit diagrams. but we dont use annotative objects anywhere, and there isn't enough future in what i'm doing, to really dig into switching everything to annotative at this point, in my opinion. everything I'm finding says I need to use an annotative style in the block, and turn on "match orientation". (SETVAR "TEXTSIZE" (* (GETVAR "USERR1") 0.09))Īll of the tools I want to use are scripted similarly, all contain this "oclayou" term, and I guess I need some resources to help me make new blocks. (command "INSERT" "AV-NOTEFLAG" IPT SF RA) (setq RA (getangle IPT "\nRotation angle: ")) (setq IPT (getpoint "\nInsertion point: ")) (defun C:AV-FLAG (/ LAYOU SF TS IPT RA TPT TXT) Draws a flag with a number, scaled by the system variable "USERR1". I just want a damn flag note hahaĪv-flag.dwg contains 3 lines to form the flag note, and an attribute definition, nothing is annotative. I know literally nothing about what any of this means. even when removed, there is an issue with the "rtd". I can find literally nothing online anywhere regarding this "OCLAYOU" portion of the script. When I load the flag note lisp into acad 2022 for example, I get an error message that "oclayou" has no function definition. wtf? Am I crazy for thinking flag notes are industry standard along with general and key notes?Īnyway. I can't believe autocad doesn't just have a flag note tool. The main things I can't get to work are:Ī leader without a text prompt tool, identical tool for a hoop leader, and one for an arc leader, a flag note tool that prompts for insert, rotation, flag number, and keeps text horizontal. We no longer have the scripting person on staff, nor does anyone but me even use acad at all anymore. The biggest thing that I'm struggling with: previously (1993 or so) my company had someone write a bunch of scripts for acad, and they have been working fine up to 2018. but I do well enough for what my company needs.ĮDIT: i should specify that these lisp files are in a trusted location, and included in the startup suite in acad2022. I'm not a full fledged acad expert for SURE. Nor do I particularly understand attribute definitions or annotative object use really. Disclaimer: I can draw things really well in CAD but I am NOT skilled with the LISP end of things, and loathe every moment spent in CUI editing etc.
